Mensaje para una sobreviviente
{~Name~} is demanding justice, sharing her voice and creative spirit to reach it.
To all survivors of sexual violence and those who experience misogyny, harassment, retaliation in the workplace, or any discrimination, who are told over and over that they're crazy or to accept what happened as okay, know you're not crazy—because it's not okay.

To me healing means love for oneself and one’s own survivor story.
Northern Michigan poet and journalist {~Name~} exposed her employment contract from {~company~} to the elements, letting go as her signature became one with the water.
{~Name~} worked as the marketing manager of a tech startup hub for entrepreneurs called {~company~} in {~City, State~}, from {~Date~} to {~Date~}.
On {~Date~} following a professional dinner with {~company~} board member {~Name~} and his son {~Board Member's Son~} (a co-worker from the {~company~} co-working space), {~Board Member's Son~} drugged and raped {~Name~} for approximately an hour while she was mostly unconscious.
{~Board Member's Son~} had sexually harassed {~Name~} in the office throughout her employment at {~company~} and he sexually assaulted her {~Date~}.
In addition to reporting his crimes to every level of law enforcement in the United States, {~Name~} reported {~Board Member's Son~} to her boss {~Boss~} (former {~company~} executive director) in his office {~Date~}, was told to leave the premises, and was forced to resign from her job while {~Board Member's Son~} continued to work there.
The perpetrator then sued {~Name~} for defamation in the {~County Court~} abusing her "legally" through re-traumatizing litigation for over a year (beginning at the onset of the global pandemic).
{~Board Member~}and {~Board Member's Son~}’s attorney {~Attorney Name~} (who represented sexual predator {~Convicted Perpetrator Name~} and is representing the {~City~} police officer who murdered {~Survivor Name~} as well as {~company~}) forced {~Name~} into a fraudulent settlement that silenced her and awarded the perpetrator $30,000 for his crimes (framed as his “damages”), human trafficking {~Name~} through America's "justice" system.
Years after raping {~Name~}, despite her continual reports to police, {~company~}, advocacy groups, and public statements about his terrifying abuse, {~Board Member's Son~} still works at {~company~}, now for U.S. {~Government Employee~}, in addition to working with the {~Organization~}.
